This tool loads your Destiny 2 gear, groups duplicate items, and helps you decide what to keep and
what can be dismantled.
What the colors mean
Green "Keep" means the item is selected to stay locked and be kept.
Red "Dismantle" means the item is not selected to be kept in that duplicate group.
What each button does
One-Step Item Dupe Button: locks loaded items, runs the auto-selection algorithm,
unlocks duplicate items that were not chosen to keep, and then moves those dismantle candidates to
the vault if there is enough vault space.
Customize Keep Rules: allows you to change the keep rules for the auto-selection
algorithm.
Show Dismantle Items Only: toggles between showing all items and only showing items
that are not selected to be kept.
How the keep algorithm works
This duplicate finder only evaluates tier 5 items.
Armor is grouped by set bonus, archetype, class, slot, and tertiary stat. Within
each armor duplicate group, the tool keeps a single best item.
Weapons are grouped by name and weapon type. Weapons can keep more than one item
when that improves perk coverage across the duplicate group.
Armor compares enabled rules from top to bottom. The default armor rank order is
Masterwork, then Equipped, then Power Level.
Weapons always maximize perk coverage first. The default weapon rank order is Accelerated Assault, then Masterwork, then
Equipped, then Power Level.
The item rank rules can be customized in-app from Customize Keep Rules.
For weapons, perk coverage means how many possible trait combinations are represented by the selected
keepers. For example, a weapon with 6 traits in column 1 and 6 traits in
column 2 has 36 total combinations, so the coverage summary shows how
many of those 36 combinations are covered by the selected rolls.
In-game steps
After selections are applied, open your Destiny 2 vault in game.
Sort the vault by Unlocked so the items ready to dismantle are grouped together.
After using the One-Step Item Dupe Button, dismantle-ready items from your
characters should already be in the vault unless the vault was too full to accept them.
